And here comes Mr. Sunny after the rain for days. And we take advantage of today's good weather. Mama did her laundry using the washing machine. I handwash mine because I only wash five shirts and two shorts. While I'm washing my clothes, the oldies are getting ready to go somewhere. Today is their "sahod," it's for senior citizens. I thought the oldies would spend hours in there, but right after hanging my clothes, they arrived. Well, I'm glad they don't have to spend more hours in that place waiting in line, especially since it's too hot today.
When the oldies arrived, we're actually on the way to the market, me and Mama, we're already at the gate then, lol. I just open the door for the oldies and left right after. And here we are on our way to the market, we stop by in a thrift shop for a big to check some pretty shirts, sad we couldn't find anything. And look how hot today is, Still, thanks for today's weather, at least our laundry won't smell bad.
Here's what I prepared for lunch. Just bought half kilo of chicken breast and chayote to make Tinola again. To make it more healthier, I put Malunggay in it, freshly picked from our little garden.
I just finished taking a bath, the oldies eat before me because I had to feed the cats. Then I saw Mommy D putting something in the table while also calling me and said "come get it before it melt." I didn't suspect anything and go downstairs, to Mama's house. I had to borrow a hair comb coz I think the cats played with my hair comb, it's missing (〒﹏〒)
And when I finally check the table in the kitchen, this what's greeted me. I was like: "ohooo, what's this ಠ◡ಠ?" I went to the store to where the oldies are and Mommy F said: "we should treat ourselves sometimes, especially if we have the money." Haha. I'm thankful with this sweet treat ♪┌|∵|┘♪
So, now, with our special sweet treat. This is my first time seeing this kind of ice cream. It's Aice brand and I shared this before but this brand is also now my favorite. They have a lot of flavors, from fruits to chocolates and now with this, Macchiato? Sounds like a coffee yeah, is it a strong one?
And this is what it looks inside. But what's interesting is the dark block of coffee underneath. That's coffee for sure. I tried it and its like coffee slushy. I don't like it's texture actually. And I don't know how I should it. And before I could think of searching on Google how to eat it, I already eat half of the vanilla ice cream, haha. I didn't even think of mixing it first.
Here it is after mixing half of it, haha. I like the texture more now. I can't really taste the flavor but it's sweet and bitter. That combination is seriously the best. The bitterness actually made the taste more balanced. I actually shared half of this to Mama and she said ut's delicious but bitter, haha. But well, we both enjoy it, so are the oldies.
I also told the oldies how they should eat their ice cream. They put theirs at the fridge for a while. And ah, also there's actually a free fork for the ice cream, the cup is really a good quality though.
And so, we will keep it. <(￣︶￣)>
