Good evening, friends of this wonderful @lifestyle community. A week ago, I attended a charity bingo event with my husband @manros11 for Uncle Ricardo. Uncle Ricardo is my daughter's husband's uncle and a wonderful person.
This bingo event was organised by his former colleagues at the school where he worked for many years.
From what I heard, Uncle Ricardo was a very helpful and cooperative man at the school where he worked, and during the Winter holidays he didn't go on holiday but stayed at the school to help with whatever was needed.
Feliz noche amigos de esta hermosa comunidad de @lifestyle, hace una semana asisti a un bingo solidario con mi esposo @manros11 para el tio Ricardo, el tío Ricardo es tío del esposo de mi hija y es un gran ser humano.
Este bingo fue organizado por sus excompañeros de trabajo en la escuela donde trabajó muchos años.
Según escuche el tío Ricardo era un hombre muy servicial y colaborador en la escuela donde trabajó y en las vacaciones de invierno no se iba de vacaciones sino que se quedaba trabajando en la escuela en todo lo que se necesitara.
For this reason, the entire school decided to repay the teacher for his big heart, as teachers are called here in Chile, and organised a charity bingo. To this end, they made a leaflet with the prizes, which would be sold with the bingo cards and used to collect the cards on the day of the event. The leaflet in the photo is not torn; when the card was claimed, a piece was removed to show that it had been handed in. Each card cost 2,000 pesos and more than a thousand cards were sold.
Por tal motivo toda la escuela decidió retribuir ese gran corazón que tiene el tío, como se llama aquí en Chile a los docentes y organizaron un bingo solidario, para tal fin hicieron un tríptico con los premios y el cual sería para la venta del cartón y serviría para retirar los cartones el día del evento, el tríptico de la foto no esta roto, al reclamar el cartón le quitaban un pedazo para saber que fue entregado,cada cartón valía 2000 pesos y se vendieron más de mil cartones.

It was very well organised, the whole school did their bit and set up the chairs and tables, sold sopaipillas, cakes, cheese empanadas, chips, drinks, water, and at the end they auctioned off whatever was left to the highest bidder.
Everything was very orderly and the goal was achieved: to raise funds for the uncle, who attended for a little while and wanted to say a few words of thanks but could only manage to say THANK YOU, as he began to cry with emotion.
My husband and I were delighted to see such solidarity and teamwork, which guarantees success. I didn't want to take a photo of my uncle because the stomach cancer he is suffering from has left him in a very poor state. He has already started chemotherapy, and God willing, he will pull through and recover.

Fue muy bien organizado, toda la escuela puso su granito de arena y acomodaron las sillas y mesas, vendieron sopaipillas, queques, empanadas de queso, papas fritas,bebidas, agua y al final lo que les quedo lo subastaron para el que ofreciera más.
Todo fue muy ordenado y se logro el objetivo, recaudar fondos para el tío, quién asistió un ratito y quiso dar unas palabras de agradecimiento pero solo logro decir GRACIAS,pues se puso a llorar de la emoción.
Mi esposo y yo nos alegramos de ver tanta solidaridad y ese trabajo en equipo que garantiza el éxito, no le quise tomar foto al tío porque el cáncer de estómago que es la enfermedad que padece lo tiene muy deteriorado, ya empezó las quimioterapias, Dios mediante saldrá adelante y sanará.
