Hey everyone,
I have some exciting news to share today. The pull request for the major refactor of the Hive-Engine distribution-engine-smt
(also known as the smt-api
) that I wrote about the other day has been officially approved and merged!
I can't help but feel a little excited and, to be honest, a bit nervous. This was a significant overhaul of the old codebase, moving it from the beem
library to hive-nectar
, fixing timezone issues, and refactoring the entire stream handling to be more efficient and maintainable. The goal was to fix the bugs that were causing reward balances not to show up correctly on various frontends.
It's a great feeling to have your work validated and accepted into a core piece of the Hive-Engine infrastructure. Now that it's merged, the changes will hopefully be deployed soon, bringing a more stable and reliable API to all the projects that depend on it.
Well, if any issues come up or if there are any questions, the Hive-Engine team knows where to find me. On to the next project!
As always,
