A life that understands that it has purpose will certainly fulfill its existence. Many people living in the world do not know that they are not just existing but that they have purpose. A purpose driven life is a life that is always focus. When you know that you have a purpose, you will know that you have a target. Many people living carelessly and aimlessly. If you have an aim in your life, you will be target oriented. With a purpose before you, you will be goal oriented. You will not waste your day and time pursuing frivolities. So, the greatest enlightenment that can come to a person is for that person to understand that he or she has a purpose in life.
What then is our purpose? Is it just to make money and spend it on ourselves? Is it just to eat and drink? No, God has prepared a purpose for us before creating us. We are His creatures. He had a purpose in His mind when he was forming us. Just as the handset manufacturer has a purpose for the handset to fulfill, God also has a purpose for us to fulfill. According to the Bible, God's purpose for our lives is to do good works.
