Our faith is in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. We have this faith because we have believed in Jesus Christ. When we believe in Jesus, he offers us salvation through His name. So the faith which we possess is the faith that we have gotten from Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior. This was declared from the beginning at His birth. Angel Gabriel told Mary that the child shall be called Jesus because he will save His people from their sins,
Jesus is our Teacher. He is the one whom the Father has sent to come and teach us the Truth. We were told by the Father that we should listen to Him. Don't listen to any other religion, listen to Jesus Christ alone.
How to pass on our faith to our children is by teaching them what we have learnt in Jesus Christ. Remember that the Bible says that there wouldn't be any faith if we did not hear from the word of God. When we heard from the doctrines of Jesus Christ and accepted his ways, then we were saved. So, let us teach our children to accept the teachings of God in the Bible.
