It is only the Holy Spirit of God who understands what the Word of God is talking about in the Bible. We cannot understand the Bible if we neglect the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that it is the spirit of a man which is in him that can interpret the Bible.
The Bible is not the book of physical events that human minds can interpret on their own. No, the Bible contains the mind of God. As a book containing the mind of God, we cannot understand the Bible by our human reasoning. Human reasoning cannot lead us into understanding the Bible. We cannot know what God is telling us in.
Human reasoning can decode science, but we cannot understand the Word of God as science. The Word of God is spiritual; it is not a philosophy. The Word of God is not science. We should use scientific reasoning to interpret the Word of God.
