The is no such thing as what pleases God the most except Jesus Christ, The Son. It is the Son, in heaven and earth, which pleases God the most. There are things that pleases God, but it is only the Son who pleases God most.
Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
God answered Peter, while he was yet speaking. He told them that He was well please with Jesus Christ. So, it is the Son who pleases the Father the most.
The Son fulfilled the heart’s desire of the Father completely. He pursued the pleasure of the Father without reservation. He obeyed the Father even unto death - the death on a cross.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
There are things that pleases God on earth asides the Lord Jesus Christ but there is nothing that pleases God the most except Jesus Christ. God is please when we know Him as a God who exercise judgement in the earth.
