I listened to the comments of our Father in this video as he said: Tribulations make us better people.
Many of us do not understand this. We think that the right way to live our lives is in excessive enjoyment. We think that eating and drinking is all that matters in. We spend our time having fun and being soaked in pleasures. We do not understand the basic truth about life.
Tribulations make us better people. Tribulations make us learn the true values of life. Tribulations remove excesses from us. We develop values that change us into better people through tribulations. There might be pains in tribulations; there might be discomfort but those pains and discomfort is sharpening our lives to become better people.
Sometimes, we need to learn a lesson from the processes of life. A tool will not be effective and efficient if it is not sharpened. The sharpening process is not pleasurable to the tool. It passes through pains. Consider gold, it is refined in fire for it to become purer and more useful. The trials which we are passing through are there to make us really better persons.
