Prayers Alone Is Not Enough. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

in MCGI Cares Hive2 days ago (edited)

We are taught to pray. Prayers is the doctrine of the church. It is one of the key doctrines of the church. Jesus Christ himself taught us how to pray. We are children of God and we have a Father in heaven. That our Father cares for us. Our welfare is His priority. When we pray, we are talking to this loving and caring Father.

One of the reasons why we should pray is so that our joy might be full. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us so. He said that we should ask until our joy is full. The question now is: “Is your joy full?” Mine hasn't been full yet. I have a lot of blessings to receive from my Father in heaven. So, I will pray and pray until my joy is full.

Prayers are not going to bring us any results if they are not offered in faith. Faith is the substance of the things that we are asking for. When we ask for something from God, we must believe that He is able to do what we are asking from him. When cannot obtain anything from God without believing in Him. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God.

So, only prayers alone are not enough for us as christians. We must have faith in God as we pray to him. We must also put our faith to work. Working is what makes our faith substantial. Without work, our faith is dead.
