Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The MCGI Mass Indoctrination commenced today the 15th July, 2024. Praise God for another opportunity to listen to the truth in the Word of God. The Members Church Of God International, is a Christian organization that truthfully wants to lead people in the right direction to God. The lessons we usually learn from the doctrines have been helpful in building our christian faith.

Acts 2:41 (KJV) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

In the opening session of the indoctrination today, Bro Eli Soriano explained to us that the first doctrine is baptism. He made it clear that we can't become members of the church without being baptized. He cited examples in the scriptures of Paul the apostle and the early church brethren who were baptized immediately they received the doctrines of Jesus Christ.

Acts 9:17-18 (KJV) And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Making our journey with Jesus Christ will begin with baptism. Our Lord instructed this. He said whosoever believes in Him should be baptized. There is no way we would say that we are doing God's commandments when we refuse to accept baptism. There are many people in several churches all over the world who only play religion. They play down on the subject of baptism. We should understand that baptism was commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ and it is a requirement for all those who will believe in Jesus Christ.
