Do you want to be a disciple of Christ? Here is the way. If you follow all of the teachings of Christ, you will be a disciple of Christ. I know it is as simple as that but there is more to it because Christ taught us about so many things but if you can successfully follow all of the teachings and behave how Christ behaved on earth, you will be his disciple.
If you are not taught and not following the teachings of Christ, do not count yourself as a disciple and you are never one.
Matthew 28: 19 says, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
This is the warning that God has given to his apostles. And even before we become disciples, we have to be baptized. Baptism is a huge part of Christianity and if you are not baptized, you can’t be a disciple.
Also, baptism may be like the main ticket but there are a few things attached to it which is that you have to follow the ways of the Lord.
What did Christ teach us? Christ taught us to be good people. We have to be good to everyone around us. If we have in abundance, we should learn to give to those who are in need.
We should honor our fathers and mothers and most importantly, we should follow the Ten Commandments given to us by God in the Bible.
God has given us rules which made things easier for us to know the right things to do and the wrong ones to never do. God be with us!
