Doing good to all men || THE OLD PATH || MCGICARES

in MCGI Cares Hive4 months ago

‎Our actions should not be dependent on happenings or people's attitude towards us but based on who we are. In other words how we act should be within because that is who we are and not without because of how someone acted towards us. We live in a time where people act a certain way to others because of how they acted towards them.

‎Some people are of the opinion of only loving those that love them and hating those that hate them, or doing good to people only if they have been treated good by these people and showing zero concern to people who they have not benefited from. But the question is, as christians, is this how we are actually meant to behave?

‎Galatians 6:10 - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

‎The truth of the matter is that we don't get to choose who to do good to as long as we have the opportunity. The above scripture makes us know that doing good is something that we should see as an opportunity. It's not everyone who has this opportunity, so if we see ourselves having this opportunity we should actually consider it as a privilege.

‎Our deeds are what identify us as christians. W can't claim to be christians and withhold our hands from doing good to people. There are certain things that we do that before even introducing ourselves people will already perceive us to be christians.

It's our obligation always to do good to everyone

Nice piece
Doing good to all men is what we should cultivate as Christians.
Even the Bible says we shouldn't pay evil to evil
