Happy Sunday everyone! And trust we had a great Sunday ☺️
Giving my insights on Brother Eli's video on the part 4 of Dealing with Depressed Teens, we must ensure that our teenagers and children in general, receive all the love and attention they need to groom themselves through this stage of their lives.
This is the stage where they build their mentality around how to love and be loved.
Most families pin point the act of showing love or nurturing teenagers on the mothers alone but the fact remains that a tree can never make a forest as both parent needs to join hands in taking care of their teenagers in one voice.
They need to be teach the word of God to be their solid foundation and word of standing firm in time of distress before the time of trouble arrives.
Psalms 23vs4: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.... This can only be their word of strength and affirmations when they've built themselves strong in the word of God before the time of trials so parents needs to equip their children/teenagers with the word of God.
Take measures of spending time with them will forever be another part of the best option. Be present in their daily lifestyles and activities no matter how small it is. From their hobbies to the great moments of eating together on the same table at least once in a day.
You can never compare the strength of the bond in a family when they do things together with when they do things separately.
Action speaks louder than voice so ensure to show your love to them more in actions and not in words alone.
Making them get the show of love and attention from outside may end up destroying them or breaking them, and every parents must avoid that.
Lastly, let them see and know that Life is worth living no matter what may come their way.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here and thanks for reading through 🤗
