Soursop vegan meat!

I prepared this recipe using a 70%ripe soursop and it delivered perfectly. I call it the "soursop meat" because it’s crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Above all, it tastes super amazing.

Soursop is also known as graviola, it is a tropical fruit widely known for it's soft texture and sweet-tart flavor. It is usually eaten when ripen or used in drinks. I don't really know it's origin but it is common in my region.
I found this recipe in the internet and I decided to give it a try.
I enjoyed every bite I took and I would love to try it again.

Here's how I prepared it.

Ingredients needed

  • 1 pieces of 70% ripe soursop
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of rosemary leaves
  • 1 cup of peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • half cup of water

How to prepare

I started by washing and cutting the soursop in round shapes. Then i turned the round shapes into cubes. After cutting, i removed the peel and seed, then set aside.

In a bowl, i mixed the flour, baking powder, salt, rosemary leaves together. Then i added my half cup of water and stir till i got a not-too-thick mixture. Then i transferred the cubed soursop to the flour mixture and stir.

In my frying pot, i pour my 1 cup of oil, allowed for few seconds, then used a spoon to scoop the soursop into the oil. I allowed it to fry till golden brown, then i removed from heat.
