I don't know if it's just me but I've form the habit of suckling the salty water from the corn cob but this time, the water isn't salty but spicy, and even more tasty.
It's another corn season, I've prepared different amazing corn recipes and today, I will be showing you this particular recipe that I loved so much.
This recipe is super amazing. The boiled fresh corn compliments the soupy noodles perfectly and the noodles wasn't soggy. The water tastes amazing, well seasoned and spicy
This recipe is a must-try.
Here's how i prepared it.
Ingredients needed
- 1 pack of noodles
- 2 corn on the cob
- 3 tablespoon of peanut oil
- 4 pieces of fresh pepper
- 1 onion bulb
- 1 stick scent leaves
- half sachet of curry powder
- enough water for cooking
I started by washing and cutting the corn in round shapes. Then i put it in my pot, poured some water and allowed it to boil till it's soft.
While my corn was still boiling, i began cutting the veggies. I washed and cut my onions. Pound the peppers. Then slice the scent leaves.
By this time, the corn is ready. I removed from heat and set aside.
Then placed my pot on the fire, add water and then the noodles.
Into the pot, i added the oil, onions, pepper, curry powder and scent leaf. I also placed the boiled corns and allowed everything to boil for another 4 minutes.
Now my amazing curry noodles soup with fresh corn is ready and it's time to enjoy ✨.
This recipe tastes truly amazing. It hits just right . The corn cob absorbed the creamy curried water and i couldn't get enough. The noodles wasn't soggy, it cooked perfectly and i will love to prepare it all long as the corn season lasts ☺.
