I was discussing with a friend when she mentioned that her mom practices a 16 hours fasting for her health, to keep fit and to stay in shape. And that to break the fast she eats salad without the salad cream and that she substitutes the salad cream with avocado and that she also adds a lot of eggs for protein.
What caught my attention wasn’t even the fasting, it was the idea of using avocado as a salad dressing or cream as we would say. I had never considered that before! So really curious, I was determined to try it out—but in a vegan way, skipping the eggs. So I finally did and I'll walk you through the process!
Below are the few ingredients I used to make this:

- 1/2 bunch of cabbage 🥬
- 1 medium size cucumber 🥒
- 1 medium size riped avocado 🥑
- 3 fresh tomatoes 🍅
- 3 carrots 🥕
- 1 medium size onion 🧅
Procedure
First step was to get my cream ready, and ro do that I peeled the avocado and sliced 1 tomato. I wanted to add tomato to the cream to give it a little twist
Next I transfer them to my blender to blend them properly. After blending I got a perfect paste and it tasted really good too. I added a pinch of salt to the paste

Next I chopped the cabbage properly and set it aside

I also chopped cucumber, carrots, onions and tomatoes. So I had my avocado cream, cabbage, and other veggies ready
So it was time to mix it all together. I poured the carbage into a deep plate, added the veggies to it

Next I mixed them all properly, and then added the avocado paste to it

So I creamed the salad properly with the avocado paste and it was done.

What I loved really was the colors it emits, very nice and beautiful.
Also it tasted good too, though im not a big fan of avocado. The avocado was creamy enough and the tomatoes added a bit of tang to it. Also the cabbage gave it a nice crunch which is the best thing I like about this salad. If I make this again, maybe I'll add a little seasoning or lemon to enhance the flavor.
But if you’re looking for a natural, dairy-free salad dressing, this might be a good option for you.
Thank you all for your time here!
