I've met some self-proclaimed buddhists who weren't exactly embracing the Zen and spiritual lifestyle people might expect but they were rather.. materialistic instead 🤣 Your review reminded me of them a bit ahah

Pity you were a bit bothered by this book but it sounds like you were still able to learn some things from this story.

        Unfortunately it can be said for any religion, because we are all susceptible to human nature. But for the "spiritually enlightened" to partake, it makes it truly disheartening -- did they learn nothing!? 😩
