El autor como todo escritor destacado, con dominio de la narrativa, expresa la fuerza o poder del personaje Pedro Páramo, a pesar de quien lo mata es su hijo Abundio. También como se ve la corrupción en esos tiempos, de quien llevaba el liderazgo para aquel entonces.
En esta obra, Rulfo explora temas como la muerte, los recuerdos, el poder y la injusticia, proporcionando elementos suficientes para reflexionar. Pasado y presente se entrelazan para hilvanar una historia interesante. Acá queda muy claro que las decisiones signan el camino y te llevan por diferentes senderos.
