Trees and Shadows
Fortunately, I live in a 100% tropical country, where trees are a part of our daily lives. We can see them in every corner of the city, on private properties, and in the most unlikely places—each with its own characteristics and a unique charm, yet many share something in common: when the sun shines at its brightest, these giant plants offer us shadows that dance to the rhythm of the wind, their shapes abstract but their beauty sublime.

Árboles y Sombras
Afortunadamente, vivo en un país 100% tropical, en donde los árboles forman parte de nuestra vida. Nos podemos observar en cualquier rincón de la ciudad, dentro de propiedades privadas y en los espacios más inverosímiles, cada uno con características propias, un encanto diferente, pero muchos con algo en común, y es que cuando el sol brilla con su máximo esplendor, estos gigantes vegetales nos regalan sombras que danzan al ritmo del viento, cuyas formas son abstractas, pero su belleza, sublime.
Many of the trees we see today in cities like Caracas are robust, long-lived, and strong; they have managed to thrive despite the city’s expansion, thus becoming true havens of comfort that allow us to take a breather in the midst of a hectic day, escape a passing drizzle, or simply marvel at their perfection and elegance.
