Warm greetings fellow shadow hunters! π π π β¨ π€
For my very-tardy entry in Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 378, I'd like to share a sweet batch of photos that I took on Tuesday, of the lovely play of sunlight and shadows on the leaves of some amaranth plants. This variety of amaranth is an excellent edible green, with quite large, thin leaves, which makes it a perfect subject for some shadow photography.
These amaranth are growing up on the lava, right next to the Flow House, so when the sun caresses their abundant verdant foliage, I have a front-row seat to the glorious display of light and shadows that dance across these leafy canvases through the day. I just have to remember go harvest their wonderful leaves more, as they're quite tasty! I hope y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! π π π β¨ π€
