ShadowHunters SMASh Contest – Shadows on the Bridge Over the Pool
While visiting my husband at his workplace, which is at a hotel, I crossed a bridge located over the pool area. It was one of those ordinary moments where you are simply walking and observing your surroundings without expecting anything special.
But then the light caught my attention.
As I walked across the bridge, I noticed how the railing projected its shadow onto the surface below. The lines created by the structure formed a striking pattern, shaped by the sunlight and the angle from which it entered the space.
I stopped for a moment to appreciate it better.
There was something very interesting about the way those shadows stretched and repeated themselves. The bridge itself already had a beautiful design, but the shadows added another dimension to it, transforming something functional into something artistic.
The contrast between light and shadow created a scene that felt calm and geometric at the same time.
Moments like these remind me that shadows can appear anywhere, even in places we pass through every day without paying much attention. Sometimes all it takes is a different angle or a specific moment of sunlight to discover a new image.

Hola comunidad Shadow Hunters, una vez más estoy publicando en esta comunidad y lo hago para participar en el ShadowHunters SMASh Contest, ronda 428.
Concurso ShadowHunters SMASh – Sombras en el puente sobre la piscina
Mientras visitaba a mi esposo en su trabajo, que es en un hotel, crucé un puente ubicado sobre el área de la piscina. Era uno de esos momentos cotidianos en los que simplemente caminamos observando el entorno sin esperar nada especial.
Pero entonces la luz llamó mi atención.
Mientras cruzaba el puente, noté cómo la baranda proyectaba su sombra sobre la superficie debajo. Las líneas creadas por la estructura formaban un patrón muy llamativo, moldeado por la luz del sol y el ángulo desde donde entraba.
Me detuve un momento para apreciarlo mejor.
Había algo muy interesante en la forma en que aquellas sombras se alargaban y repetían. El puente ya tenía un diseño bonito por sí mismo, pero las sombras le añadían otra dimensión, transformando algo funcional en algo artístico.
El contraste entre la luz y la sombra creaba una escena que transmitía calma y geometría al mismo tiempo.
Momentos así me recuerdan que las sombras pueden aparecer en cualquier lugar, incluso en sitios por los que pasamos todos los días sin prestar demasiada atención. A veces solo hace falta un ángulo diferente o un momento específico de luz para descubrir una nueva imagen.
