Reflections on a Rainy Wall. Entry for Reflection Hunters contest-SMARP- round 269 [EN/ES]

in Shadow Hunters8 days ago (edited)

Hello Shadow Hunters community, once again I’m posting in this community and doing so to take part in the Reflection Hunters Contest, round 269.

Reflection Hunters Contest – Reflections on a Rainy Wall

After the rain, a small puddle formed right in front of a house. It was nothing extraordinary at first glance, just water collecting on the ground as it usually does after a downpour.

But when I looked closer, I noticed something special.

In that puddle, the front of the house and its wall were perfectly reflected on the surface of the water. The image appeared slightly distorted by the movement of the water, but still clear enough to recognize the structure and its surroundings.

I stopped for a moment to observe it.

There is something fascinating about how rain transforms ordinary streets into unexpected mirrors. A simple puddle becomes a place where reality is doubled, where the present moment is quietly reflected back at us.

In that reflection, the house seemed different—softer, almost poetic, as if the rain had revealed another version of it.

I took the photo as a way to preserve that brief moment before the water disappeared or changed again.

And this is what I share with you today for this contest.

Thanks to @olgavita for every call for this contest.

Thanks for everything, and I declare that the images were taken with my mobile phone and the English translation is thanks to Google Translate.

Thank you for reading.
Special thanks to @bradleyarrow for supporting the community.
