Reflection Hunters Contest – A Reflection in the Parking Lot
Yesterday, after several hours of rain, small puddles remained in different areas near a parking lot. Once the rain stopped, I noticed an interesting reflection in one of them.
Only part of a vehicle could be seen, specifically the rear tire and a section of the body reflected in the water.
It was a simple image, but it immediately caught my attention.
The puddle acted like a small mirror, transforming an ordinary detail into something visually different. The reflection was not perfect, since the water still had slight movement, but that made the image feel even more natural and spontaneous.
I stopped for a moment to observe it better.
Sometimes reflections do not need to show an entire object to become interesting. A small fragment, combined with light and water, can be enough to create a striking scene.
What I liked most was how something as everyday as a parked vehicle became part of a moment worth capturing after the rain.
And this is the reflection I share with you today for this contest.

Concurso Reflection Hunters – Un reflejo en el parqueo
Ayer, después de varias horas de lluvia, quedaron pequeños charcos en distintas zonas de un parqueo. Cuando finalmente dejó de llover, noté un reflejo interesante en uno de ellos.
Solo podía verse una parte del vehículo, específicamente la goma trasera y una sección de la carrocería reflejada en el agua.
Era una imagen sencilla, pero llamó mi atención de inmediato.
El charco funcionaba como un pequeño espejo, transformando un detalle cotidiano en algo visualmente diferente. El reflejo no era perfecto, ya que el agua aún tenía un ligero movimiento, pero eso hacía que la imagen se sintiera más natural y espontánea.
Me detuve un momento para observarlo mejor.
A veces los reflejos no necesitan mostrar un objeto completo para resultar interesantes. Un pequeño fragmento, combinado con la luz y el agua, puede ser suficiente para crear una escena llamativa.
Lo que más me gustó fue cómo algo tan cotidiano como un vehículo estacionado terminó formando parte de un momento digno de capturar después de la lluvia.
