Hello Everyone!
Last Sunday, my cousins and I decided to spend the day playing golf. It had been a while since we all hung out like that, so I was really looking forward to it. As we headed to the course, I was already thinking about this week’s shadow contest. I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to capture a great shadow photo after all, we’d be out in the open field, under direct sunlight. I even brought my phone fully charged and ready.
But as soon as we started playing, I got completely caught up in the game. We were laughing, competing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Before I knew it, the game was over and I realized I hadn’t taken a single photo. I had so much fun that I completely forgot about the contest!
After playing, we all went to have lunch at a nearby place. While waiting for the food, I decided to look around and that’s when I spotted a small flower near the edge of the restaurant. The way the sunlight hit it created a beautiful shadow on the ground. It was such a simple scene, but it immediately caught my eye. Without thinking twice, I took a photo.
It may not have been the golf shadow I had in mind, but this flower ended up saving the day. Sometimes, the best shots come from the moments you don’t plan and I’m happy I was still able to find something special to share for this week’s contest.
