Greetings fellow #shadowhunters, glad to be back.
Here in Upstate New York, it's been quite the winter so far, with lots of snow and frigid temps. I don't venture out when it's zero, but when the sun comes out after a weeklong of grey skies, I got inspired to bundle up and hunt #shadows that appear on the snowy white landscape.
As I began my hunting trip, I noticed the shadow that was formed by this giant icicle. I thought it was beautiful.
It has grown since this photo was taken.
It seemed everywhere I looked there was a shadow.
With the bright sunlight, shadow edges were sharp, the snow enhanced each scene.
As I looked at this picture my imagination took off, to me it looked like a prehistoric animal, with spider legs and a big schnoz.
I had to include this shadow to prove I really was braving the elements.
All around our frozen pond were lovely shadows with a nice white blanket and blue skies to boot.
I must admit I only lasted 15 minutes outside before my fingers were frozen and aching, but I did enjoy the fresh air, the blue skies and of course, #shadowhunting.
Hope y'all enjoyed the show, until next time, be safe, be positive and stay hopeful.
LOVE AND HUGS
