Hello friends this starting a new year although it has been a week I take the opportunity to wish you a new year full of success and blessings, today I want to share with you some old houses in the center of the city if you do not believe here I show them look like museum houses some are uninhabited others are for sale and those that are inhabited are older people who are attached to their homes.

Most of these houses occupy large tracts of land, many of them have been sold. This one, for example, retains its old wooden windows with security bars, the garage door is made of wood, and on the outside you can see the very old roof, although the paint on the exterior walls has been retouched to maintain the infrastructure.

This old house for example has received repairs on the facade but maintains the same old windows the roof is made of bahareque its construction is made of wood and bamboo canes like the previous one retains its old roof this type of roof is characteristic in rural houses, its walls are made of clay or as the grandparents say each of mud where they use small stones and adobe, all these building materials have a great history in my city being part of the popular architecture although the vast majority of these houses are disappearing giving way to the old one.

Although its façade was remodeled, the rest of the house still does not have the old wooden doors and windows.

I also found in the center of my city an old facade is abandoned years ago was used for business but is in total abandonment, still retains its wooden windows and signs of the business that worked there is fascinating to see how the buildings were made in the past and for some reason still remain, this old house if it is in total abandonment.

Next to this house there are two old houses that in spite of the remodeling and modernization still conserves the construction materials of an old house. The great majority of these houses have been demolished and have been converted into large modern constructions, however there are still some that are conserved and inhabited, others in total abandonment and in the process of demolition to give way to modern architecture.

For example, the little house with the green awning has been remodeled but still maintains its walls made of clay, this family keeps the tradition and technology at the same time, notice that they changed their wooden windows and doors for iron.
