Good evening everyone. How was today at work, at the office, in the house and in all your vocations. Hopefully it's a perfect... okay!.
This is prompt #101. It reads about the Popular saying, we all know about it "Charity Begins At Home" What does it really means, when someone comes up to you as you have decided to do your work of charity at a very far distance instead of from your home and within your neighborhood?. "Charity begins at home"
Charity in the simplest word, means showing kindness to others. Charity is Showing kindness, empathy, favour and providing comfort and relief to people in dare need or just in need of anything available or as you can purposely give out freely to others.
Most times, the work of charity expected from us may not be giving someone a mansion, cars or the precious silver and gold the whole world is chessing on daily basis. Charity work is anything available from you to others.
Doing a quality charity work could mean feeding hungry people with as little food as you have at home. Giving out your own used clothings to those almost naked. Just anything at all you can make available that are still useful to someone else, somewhere.
According to the qoat, "charity begins at home".
It's expected that we start such benovalence from our own homes. A recognized charity work starts from our own family members, our relatives, friends, communities and right from our neighborhoods before being spread outside to the unknown people in every other locations like orphanages, internally displaced people's camps all around Nigeria and the world over.
In the Bible, it reads in 1 Timothy 5v8, the king James version. (KJV),
" But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel"
This is to show that God's word supports this very qoat of giving charity to others. People often quickly get to the social media to show up the pictures of those they have helped. Such gifts must go viral for certain people to feel good from the applauses they may receive. They need relevance from the society. Most times, it could be regarded as their social security and or their social cooperate responsibility work to the communities where they work.
Hello..., it's a charity work that supposed to begin at home. After which many others could receive helps for a better life from you but start from your house.
Giving at home builds confidence, it builds faith and bonds that stablizes the people and the givers. It creates hope and joy from the givers to receivers. It's a show of kindness and values to the parties involved.
Giving charity to people brings respect and love from those that have received the gifts to those that had given out the charity, it builds trust and validation to the givers.
Charity work has a never ending beautiful effects, experiences and results.
