Hello #hive friends
I recently wrote a post about what I was thankful for so far this year. In it, I talked about the friends who have helped me move forward in this new world that #hive represents for me. For that reason, and as a new way of expressing gratitude, I'd like to introduce and share with you several of them.
Of course, there are several I know in person, and others I met and follow through Hive, but they have all helped me learn about this beautiful yet complex universe.
I call them friends because saying profiles sounds very impersonal to me (although that would be more accurate). However, whether it's because of the communication we've established, what they've taught me, what I enjoy about their posts, or our connection inside or outside of hive, I consider them all friends, and for that reason, I'd like to recommend them and strongly urge you to follow and vote for them.
They all have top-quality posts, and often don't get the votes they deserve.
So, my recommendation is that you not only follow them, but also add them to your favorites so you don't miss a single one of their posts.
Since there are many of them, I may not mention them all in this post and leave the rest for others.
Let's begin:
I can't start with anyone other than my husband:
He's a writer, accountant, and my life partner. His profile is very diverse, and although he focuses primarily on art and literature, he's also passionate about writing about philosophy, self-improvement, magic, and cooking.
He's a dog lover, although he recently discovered his love for cats. We adopted two kittens that he's smitten with.
Since we're talking about writers, here's a list of my writer friends you absolutely have to follow:
A journalist, science fiction writer, and historian mother, this lover of Neil Gaiman's work blends her writing with the world that bubbles within her. Therefore, each museum tour can seem like chapters in a well-written and interesting novel... until an exquisite dark humor emerges that enriches, contextualizes, and gives her a very special and fresh style that characterizes her.
On her profile, you can find stories about magic, tours, reviews, her cat, and a world of topics as varied as they are interesting.
Iris is the one with the right words and the woman of a thousand interesting initiatives. Iris is an art critic and a natural defender of our cultural heritage.
I don't think anyone would believe Iris is an excellent artist, as she is one of the most prolific and tireless creators I know. She always has thousands of ideas, projects, and topics to talk about.
Therefore, if you visit her blog, you will learn about art, artists, and their works. All from the perspective of a specialist in the subject. At the same time, you will find reflections on life and exquisite recipes, among many other things.
A mother of three Angels and a fighter from Baire to the world, Maylin is the epitome of entrepreneurship par excellence and female empowerment.
An excellent writer who uses her gift for poetry and focuses on diverse topics of self-improvement, esoteric themes, and well-being.
At the same time, she has a line of work focused on young entrepreneurs where she shares her experiences and everything she has learned during her time as an entrepreneur.
Faithful and devoted husband to Mailín. But I don't need to say that, because if you go to his profile, you'll find many poems dedicated to his eternal muse.
But you'll also find several very interesting critical works on films, series, and books. Osmel has, for someone who claims to be of few words, the gift of the gab. A very educated and exquisite critical eye.
He's one of my most recent discoveries. In fact, I discovered him through a @restaurador activity.
On Argenis Osorio's profile (thanks, Abel, for the tip) you'll find critical articles and literary reviews of classic and contemporary books.
What I've enjoyed most, besides meeting and remembering the great universal authors that Argenis masterfully promotes, are fragments of his novels and short stories.
Argenis is an author with a lot of power in words, and ones that are fully enjoyed from beginning to end.
Perhaps Roswel has the most varied and dynamic profiles of all.
Roswel has perfected his photography, especially black and white. He's also a profuse poet with great images.
He's specializing in operational issues related to the use of #hive.
And, best of all, he can combine various themes and styles in a single post.
Something I always find in Roswel's posts is clarity of thought and beautiful, direct language.
And he has the added value of always leaving us with at least one happy message.
He's one of the greatest and best promoters of literature I know. Ian Rodríguez, besides being an excellent poet, is an intellectual in every sense of the word.
A Master.
His works, his posts, are master classes in literature, while simultaneously combining it with playful themes and a constant promotion of the best Cuban literature available.
He is the creator of the Palabras con sombra de árbol workshop, which has been attended by almost all the writers in the Hive Santiago community.
Many of them still continue.
Part of the vocation of a teacher, which he cannot shake off, he pours into his poetry competitions/dynamics.
@abelarte once said it: Ian is one of those intellectuals we need today. We need more people like him in Cuba.
The literary world, and the art world in general, should learn from Ian.
She is the author of one of the profiles I visit daily. Damarys is one of the main promoters of communities like Holos&Lotus, where personal development and well-being are priorities.
Damarys's initiatives, drive, and support make her a much-needed person today. The topics she promotes, which you can find on her profile, are the kind that can brighten your day, solve a problem, a situation, and even save a life.
Without a doubt, she's someone you absolutely must follow.
@flemingfarm's profile is the equivalent of browsing Netflix. Her posts are diaries of the activities on a family farm.
There, we can read about crops, football, shopping, incredible bonfires, alpacas, and countless other activities documented through incredible photographs that either take our breath away or make us want to travel to her farm.
Without a doubt, she's one of the most interesting and relaxing profiles I know. At the same time, I learn something new every day.
These are my first suggestions for profiles to follow and vote for. Browse through them and then let me know.

Hola, amigos de #hive
Recientemente hice un post sobre lo que agradecía en lo que va de año. En él, hablé de los amigos que me han ayudado a avanzar en este nuevo mundo que representa #hive para mí. Por esa razón y como una nueva vía de agradecimiento, quisiera presentar y acercarlos a varios de ellos.
Por supuesto, hay varios que los conozco en persona y otros que conocí y sigo sus perfiles a través de Hive, pero que, de igual manera, me han ayudado a aprender a cómo es este universo tan hermoso como complejo.
Les digo amigos porque decir perfiles me suena muy impersonal (aunque sería lo más correcto). No obstante, ya sea por la comunicación que establezcamos, lo que me han enseñado, lo que disfruto de sus post o nuestro vínculo dentro o fuera de hive, a todos ellos les considero amigos y por eso, quisiera recomendarlos y pedirles, encarecidamente, que los sigan y los voten.
Todos ellos tienen post de la más alta calidad y, en no pocas ocasiones, no obtienen los votos que merecen.
Así que, mi recomendación es que, no solo los sigan, sino que los agreguen a favoritos para que no se pierdan ni uno de sus post.
Como son muchos, quizás no los mencione a todos en este post y deje al resto para otros.
Comencemos:
No puedo comenzar por otro que no sea mi esposo:
Es escritor, contador y mi compañero de vida. Su perfil es muy variado y, aunque se enfoca mayoritariamente en el arte y la literatura, también le apasiona escribir sobre temas filosóficos, de superación personal, de magia y de cocina.
Es amante de los perros, aunque recientemente descubrió su amor por los gatos. Adoptamos dos gaticas que lo tienen enamorado.
Ya que hablamos de escritores, aquí les dejo una lista de mis amigos escritores a los que tienen que seguir sí o sí:
Periodista, escritora de ciencia ficción y con madre historiadora, esta amante de la obra de Neil Gaiman mezcla sus textos de toda este mundo que bulle en su interior. Por eso, cada paseo por museos pueden parecer capítulos de novelas escritos muy correctos e interesantes... hasta que surge un exquisito humor negro que enriquece, contextualiza y le otorga un estilo muy especial y fresco que la caracteriza.
En su perfil puedes encontrar desde historias de magia, paseos, reseñas, su gato y un un mundo de temas tan variados como interesantes.
Iris es la de la palabra precisa y la mujer de las mil iniciativas interesantes. Iris es crítica de arte y una defensora natural de nuestro patrimonio cultural.
No creo que alguien dude de que Iris sea excelente artista, ya que es una de las creadoras más prolíferas e incesantes que conozco. Siempre tiene miles de ideas, proyectos y temas de los que hablar.
Por eso,si entras a su blog conocerás de arte, de artistas, de sus obras. Todo ello desde el punto de vista de una especialista del tema. Al mismo tiempo, encontrarás reflexiones para la vida y exquisitas recetas de cocina, entre muchas otras cosas.
Madre de tres Ángeles y luchadora desde Baire para el mundo. Maylin es la representación del emprendimiento por excelencia y del empoderamiento femenino.
Excelente escritora que utiliza sus dones para la poesía y lo enfoca e disímiles temas de superación personal temas esotéricos y de bienestar.
Al mismo tiempo, tiene un una línea de trabajos enfocada en jóvenes emprendedores donde comparte de sus experiencias y de todo lo que ha aprendido durante este tiempo como emprendedora.
Esposo fiel y devoto de Mailín. Pero eso no necesito decirlo, ya que si te adentras a su perfil encontrarás muchos poemas dedicados a su musa eterna.
Pero también encontrarás varios trabajos críticos sobre películas series y libros muy interesantes. Osmel tiene, para alguien que se dice de pocas palabras, el don de la palabra. Un ojo crítico muy educado y exquisito.
Él es uno de mis más recientes descubrimientos. De hecho lo descubrí a través de una dinámica de @restaurador.
En el perfil de Argenis Osorio (gracias Abel, por el dato) hallarás artículos críticos y reseñas literarias de libros clásicos y contemporáneos.
Lo que más he disfrutado además de conocer y recordar a grandes de los autores universales que argenis maestramente promueve son suframentos de novelas y sus cuentos.
Agencia es un autor con mucha fuerza en la palabra y de los que se disfruta plenamente desde el principio hasta el punto final.
Quizás Roswel tenga unos perfiles más variados y dinámicos de todos.
Roswel ha perfeccionado la fotografía; sobre todo la de en blanco y negro. Además, es un poeta profuso con grandes imágenes.
Se está especializando en temas operacionales del uso de #hive.
Y, lo mejor de todo, que puede mezclar varias temáticas y estilos en un solo post.
Algo que siempre encuentro en los post de Roswel, es una claridad de pensamiento y un lenguaje hermoso y directo.
Y tiene el valor agregado de que siempre nos deja, al menos, un mensaje feliz.
Es de los mayores y mejores promotores de la literatura que conozco. Ian Rodríguez además de excelente poeta es un intelectual en todo el sentido de la palabra.
Un Maestro.
Sus trabajos, sus post son clases magistrales de literatura, al mismo tiempo que la combina con temas lúdicos y una promoción constante de la mejor literatura cubana que existe.
Él es el creador del Taller Palabras con sombra de árbol, por donde han pasado casi todos los escritores de la comunidad de Hive Santiago.
Muchos de ellos aún continúan.
Parte de la la vocación de maestro de la que no puede desprenderse la vierte en sus concursos/dinámicas sobre poesía.
Ya lo dijo @abelarte una vez: Ian es de esos intelectuales que necesitamos hoy en día. Necesitamos más personas como él en Cuba.
El mundo literario y el del arte en general, debería aprender de Ian.
Ella es la autora de uno de los perfiles que visito a diario. Damarys es una de las principales promotoras de comunidades como Holos&Lotus donde la superación personal y el bienestar son las prioridades.
Las iniciativas, impulsos y apoyo de Damarys la hace una persona muy necesaria hoy en día. Los temas que promueve y que puedes encontrar en su perfil son de esos que pueden alegrarte el día, solucionar un problema, una situación e, incluso, salvar una vida.
Sin duda alguna ella alguien a la que hay que seguir sí o sí.
El perfil de @flemingfarm es el equivalente a navegar por Netflix. Sus post son diarios de las actividades de una granja familiar.
Allá podemos leer sobre cultivos, fútbol americano, compras, increíbles hogueras, Alpacas y un sinfín de actividades dicumentadas mediantes increíbles fotografías que, o nos quitan el aliento o nos dan ganas de viajar hasta su granja.
Sin dudas, es de los perfiles más interesantes y relajantes que conozco. Al mismo tiempo, todos los días aprendo algo nuevo.
Estos son mis primeras sugerencias de perfiles a los que seguir y votar. Naveguen por ellos y luego me dicen.
Seguro que no se arrepentirán.
