I attended a life-changing event yesterday. This event was structured not only to impact our spiritual life but also our financial life, and at the end, some mothers who were struggling to feed their families were gifted raw food and vegetable oil, while all widows in attendance were gifted 6 yards of Ankara, not because they can't afford it but simply as a gift to remind them that they are not alone.
The PROTEGES, the warrior princes and princesses & the praying mothers—that's who we are and the kind of people in attendance for this event. The theme of the event was something we always hear, but there were deeper, uncommon, and unusual understandings of the same topic as the ministers took us to different dimensions, exposing me personally to something new and amazing that affected my spiritual aspect of life positively. It was a day to remember; the worship was on another level, the prayers, the word, my God…what an encounter!
After the spiritual digest came the financial enlightenment tagged: VALUABLE NOT AVAILABLE. Do you know you can be available but not valuable? It was a session I didn't want to end any time soon. Some people were practically asked what they have been doing since after prophesying for a fruitful new year with expectations, and to my greatest surprise, they said they have been in the place of prayers! They are simply available but not valuable, yet they complain that they are poor. Even God needs to see the works of our hands to bless them, so once we have nothing for Him to bless, forget it and keep rotating in a circle.
I am not really going to say all that was taught in this aspect, but the summary is getting yourself valuable. Understand the world we are in and channel your energy to the things that pay in this era. Equip yourself with relevant skills and position yourself well to make it in this competitive world. I already picked my niche and did a registration to acquire a skill via online immediately after I returned home last night. I will talk more about this when I start seeing results, and then I will come back with evidence to show you that indeed, it is working. I hope you don't miss that particular blog from me when the time is due.
The lunch was something refreshing; it was a buffet. You just stand and point at any type of meal you wish and have the chef serve you according to your desire. I am addicted to rice 😃, so rice it was for me, and I enjoyed the physical meal as much as I enjoyed the spiritual meal.
The final session of this event was the charity project targeted for the widows and struggling moms. While the gifts to widows were being distributed, some of the women started crying again for the loss of their husbands, especially those whose husbands died not long ago. It was so emotional that I couldn't capture the moment.
Some moms were given bags of rice and vegetable oil to encourage them with the family load they are shouldering. I was glad to see them excited as they received this gift.
Overall, I must commend our women leader for such vision in gathering women, ladies, and a few men for both spiritual and financial empowerment. It's usually an occasional event, and hopefully, I will keep attending.
