Today, I spent some time upstairs hanging our clothes to dry.
It started really nice at first. I couldn’t feel the heat because the sun was hidden behind the clouds.
It was cool and comfortable, that's why instead of rushing, I took my time and enjoyed the view around me.
Everything looked so bright and mostly yellow right now.
The rice fields beside our house were just harvested yesterday, so the whole area is now covered in that lovely golden color.
It feels like the land is glowing!
Right in front of me, there are still people busy finishing their harvest.
I watched them working hard. They were working together, and it was interesting to see how they gathered the grains.
Honestly, every time I look at this scenery, I feel so grateful and happy.
Living in a place like this is such a wonderful blessing.
Not everyone gets to wake up and see green and gold fields, breathe fresh air, and witness how our food is harvested.
It feels like I get a little gift of beauty every single day, and I never get tired of it.
It makes me appreciate our life here even more.
After a while, the clouds moved away, and the sun came out fully.
It suddenly became strikingly hot!
Then I quickly brought my umbrella with me, coz I would surely get baked under that bright sun. 🤣
Anyway, the heat was so strong that I couldn’t even stand still for long unless I was under the shade. I had to move fast while finishing up the clothes. But even with the intense heat, I knew for sure that our laundry would dry super fast today!
It was just a simple task of hanging clothes, but it turned into a lovely time to pause and enjoy nature.
It really is the little things and beautiful views that make everyday life so special. 💛
