Hi everyone! It’s a very special day because we’re celebrating my niece Ella’s birthday.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. — Jeremiah 29:11

Family bonding means a lot to me. No matter how busy life gets, I believe there should always be time for the people we love. Yesterday is special because we are celebrating the birthday of my niece, Ella. It may not be a grand celebration, but for us, the simple moments together are the ones that make life meaningful. Family time is always the best time.
We started the day excited, preparing everything we needed for the celebration. Everyone helped in their own little way, someone bought the cake, someone prepared the drinks, someone arranged the table, and others were cooking. Jeff, Ella’s dad, was outside grilling fish. Seeing everyone moving together made me realize how blessed I am to have a family that enjoys doing things with love and teamwork.

Ella was so happy. Her smile was enough to complete the day. Birthdays for kids are not just about gifts, but about making them feel special and loved. When I saw her laughing and running around, I felt that the best gift we could give is time and presence. That’s priceless.
That cake is actually the kids’ favorite, ever since they tasted it they always choose the same one. These simple family gatherings are the memories we will carry forever. Ella even made cute poses, which made us laugh even more. It was such a beautiful moment full of joy, full of love and full of gratitude for another year of her life.

For our food, we decided to have samgyup because it’s one of my niece’s favorite. We enjoyed grilling and cooking the meat together. It became more fun because we were talking, laughing and teasing each other about who cooks the meat better. Eunice even volunteered to cook everything as long as we give her lots of food haha! Moments like this are always full of joy and funny memories.
Before the birthday, we originally planned to eat outside, but everything changed because some of us were feeling tired from work. So we decided to just cook at home instead. It was more practical and we saved money, and the best part is we didn’t need to rush since we were just at home, relaxed and comfortable.

I told Ella something from my heart. I hope you grow up knowing that you are loved not just on your birthday, but every single day. Always be kind, stay humble, and never be afraid to dream big. Life may not always be easy, but remember that with faith, hard work, and a grateful heart, you can achieve anything. May you continue to grow with courage, joy, and wisdom carry love wherever you go.
To everyone who visited and took the time to read my post, thank you so much. Your support encourages me to share more memories and stories. Until my next post, stay grateful, stay happy and keep spreading kindness.
