These photos are from yesterday, and we got up really early to go to the clinic to get some tests done that they had ordered a few days ago, but we hadn't been able to do.
Cabe destacar que mi mamá se ha sentido mucho mejor y eso es un gran avance para nosotros, en esta oportunidad había que hacerle unos exámenes de sangre que ordenó la nefrologa pero también había que hacerle exámenes de orina y de heces, y en el examen de heces había uno que es muy importante y era para ver si está perdiendo la sangre por las heces y este dio positivo. Así que el lunes debemos ir al gastroenterólogo para que la vea y nos diga que exámenes hay que hacerle y lograr controlar esta perdida de sangre. Han sido días difíciles y esto aún no termina.
It's worth noting that my mom has felt much better, and that's a big step forward for us. This time, she needed some blood tests ordered by the nephrologist, but she also needed urine and stool tests. The stool test included a very important one to see if she's losing blood in her stool, and it came back positive. So, on Monday, we have to go to the gastroenterologist to see her and tell us what tests we need to run to control this blood loss. These have been difficult days, and this isn't over yet.
La señora que saca la sangre ya nos conoce y nos trató muy bien, estuvo hablando con mi mamá y dándole palabras de aliento que todo va a estar bien. Mi mamá ha estado muy decaída pero se que pronto todo estará bien.

Luego de hacerle sus exámenes me pidió que le tomara una foto cerca de esta hermosa virgen que tenía un arreglo de flores hermosos. La medicina y la fé han sido todo para nosotras estos últimos días, confiando que está semana que viene todo va a mejorar y ella va a estar mucho mejor.
After performing her tests, she asked me to take a photo of her near this beautiful Virgin Mary who had a gorgeous flower arrangement. Medicine and faith have been everything to us these past few days, trusting that next week everything will improve and she will be much better.
Al salir de la clínica le dije que nos tomarnos una foto, y es que han sido días complicados para las dos, pues ella siente miedo al estar enferma y yo también al que a ella le vaya a pasar algo. Pero aquí seguimos fuertes y unidas y haciendo todo para que ella esté bien y mejorando.
When we left the clinic, I told her we should take a photo. It's been a complicated few days for both of us, as she's afraid of being sick, and I'm also afraid that something might happen to her. But here we are, strong and united, doing everything to help her feel better.
Luego tuve que ir a la gobernación que fue el lugar de trabajo de mi mamá, pues debía buscar unos papeles para un trámite que estoy haciendo. Luego de esto fuimos a la casa y ya ella tenía el almuerzo listo y es que yo tenía que volver a salir. Fue uno de esos días donde hago de todo.
Then I had to go to the governor's office, which was my mom's workplace, because I had to pick up some paperwork for a procedure I'm doing. After that, we went home, and she already had lunch ready, so I had to go out again. It was one of those days where I do everything.
