Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!
This is my weekly milage update #91 in the #cycling community.
This is the seventeenth week of '26 and last week the weather greatly improved and I finally got in some miles!
I was "MIA" last week due to zero miles the previous week, yes it either rained or the wind was at 20+mph / 32+kph! Not friendly conditions!
So I figured a "milage report" of no miles is ridiculous I waited till this week - and did get in some miles!
And so, on to -
"Brutus"
At the end of this week it is at,
391 miles / 629.253
kilometers
minus 83 miles / 133.57 kilometers
(start of year miles)
= 308 miles / 495.677 kilometers for the year
And 27 miles / 43.452 kilometers for the week!
Funny thing I did want to mention about this bike, "must be I am finally getting old"....
Before I owned this bike, I did not want one. I had a lot of wrong ideas about these kind of bikes in general, I was hooked on 1.95" x 26" tires. It took two orders of that same old format that did not work before I took this shot in the dark. I am here to say, "I am so very happy I did"!
I did not ride the Green bike last week once again (?) so the numbers are holding where they were,
2.291miles / 3.687 kilometers
Which equals 310.291 miles / 499.364 kilometers for the year - both bikes combined.
And so, I "finally" got in a few miles on "Brutus". None on the Green bike - and I do need to get the rear rim replaced or repaired. It has a very bad "wobble" - so currently I am not sure what the future holds for that one. I will keep you updated when I get to a decision!
