Hello beautiful people. As hair stylist, we get to see and have experiences with different types of hair.
The hairs are either long or short, scanty or full. Others are really soft and some are so hard you just want to run away from the client.
Every braider prefers the long and soft hair that won’t stress so much. But then we don’t really have much power as regards who comes to braid with us. We work with people as they come.
So even if a person’s hair is short, we work with it, if it’s tough, personally I say to myself “ you’re definitely not tougher than my me” i still work with.
The process is not always easy, but there’s no room for backing out, you already started and your client there is expecting the best outcome.
In the long run, I’ve learned to accept this profession and everything that comes with it. Such that, I am no longer scared about the kind of hair a client is bringing. I am just ready to braid.
Why am I telling us all these?
We have been given the gift of life and the giver has also given everything we need to survive.
Just like my clients come with different hair types, so does life come with different situations. Some challenging, others easy.
In order to stand all these, we first need to accept the situation we’re in and be ready to face anything because, at the end of it all no one will applaud you for failing.
We always have the best plans for tomorrow, but there are a lot of processes to achieving them. And they won’t all be so pleasant.
Are you ready to face it?
Indeed that's a great, concise philosophy.
We must be prepared to welcome every flavor that life brings, which is essential for resilience and growth.
The mindset of "it's my responsibility" will save from the overwhelming thought of stress, when you actually face with one.
Just get in and do it like without you no one else can!!
In conclusion I’d just like to say this:
“LIVE PREPARED”
