Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. A country situated in the western part of Africa, sometimes called the giant of Africa for how big the country is and the country's population, The diversity of the people makes the country unique; it is believed that over 500 languages are spoken within the country, with English as its general language. The country is highly blessed with natural resources, and the people are resilient and hardworking.

Nigerians are known for online banter, but that does not stop them from being the loving and welcoming people that they are. It all ends online, especially with their neighbor (Ghana) and other nearby countries. The just concluded African Cup of Nations tournament is a typical example of how Nigerians are capable of causing chaos online but still care. There are so many things to like about my country. Even though bad government is a problem, it does not stop us from loving the country and seeing beyond its flaws.
In subsequent paragraphs, I will share with you a thing or two I love about my country.
My country is believed to be one of the few countries with a lot of delicacies. We have over 300 ethnic groups, and every ethnic group has a particular food they are known for. Every ethnic group has their own special dish, and in every part of the country you enter, you are introduced to a new mouth-watering dish that will leave you wishing for more. For example, the Yorubas are famous for the ewedu and amala, which are easy to find in their region compared to other places.
So many ethnic groups have brought about so many cultures that you can never know them all. These cultures, when displayed, are so beautiful. Though civilization is causing them to fade and become a thing of the past, some ethnic groups still try to preserve their culture. The diversity of my country makes it rich in culture and tradition.
There are countless festivals that hold every year in Nigeria; we have the new yam festival, the Calabar festival, and the masquerade festivals that hold annually. Many of these festivals always remind us of our origins before civilization and Christianity took over. The days scheduled for these festivals are always looked forward to because of the fun attached to them. You will feed your eyes until you get tired.
There are so many tourist attractions in Nigeria, places that will leave one in awe and in admiration of nature for what it really is. We have the Obudu cattle ranch and the Yakari game reserve.
I am using this opportunity to say happy independence to Ghana 🇬🇭.
Thanks for reading my post.
