Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We all have different definitions and opinions on happiness, but how we define or see it does not really matter, as all that matters is that we are genuinely happy whenever things align with our definition of happiness. Going through the internet and reading through books, you see every author with their own definition of happiness and so many quotes about happiness. Some of the quotes I agree with, and some I don't really see it that way.

A friend of mine in school even when things are not going well for him and you expect him to break down or be sad, you will still see him very happy and lively, like nothing is really going on. The other day, I asked him how he manages to pull off the stunt because not everyone can handle things the way he does, and he said, "Happiness is free and comes from within." I did agree with him that happiness comes from within, but saying happiness is free is the wrong way to see happiness.
For you to be genuinely happy, you must be willing to pay the price. Happiness is a lot more expensive than we think. It might not necessarily be monetary, but for genuine happiness, a sacrifice must be made. If what makes you happy is achieving your goals, you must make sacrifices to achieve them one way or another. A price is paid for whatever makes you happy. As well, if what makes you happy is seeing family and friends happy, you must be willing to make a sacrifice to get them what makes them happy so you too can be happy.
For me, happiness lies in a few things: first of all, seeing family, loved ones, and people around me happy. Once you are surrounded by happy people, there is no way you won't find happiness. Truth be told, happiness is contagious. Once the people around you are happy, you can't help but find happiness too. This is why I try in every little way possible to see to it that people around me stay happy, so I can be happy too.
Another definition of happiness for me is when I achieve my goals; that feeling. When you feel fulfilled knowing you achieved a goal you worked so hard for, and especially when it is achieved as planned without any delays and at the right time, When a goal is achieved at the right time, our happiness and joy always know no bounds.
Another way to enjoy genuine happiness is by staying content. You can achieve a lot of things and have all the money in the world, but if you fail to practice contentment, you will never be happy. Contentment gives room for happiness with every little achievement, but a lack of contentment will not let you celebrate your little wins, which is very wrong.
Thanks for reading my post.
