this particular prompt? I'm definitely sure everybody can relate, it's a shoe we've all worn at some point, you know the beauty of life is that everybody has a story to tell, some how somehow we've all been there, this is life except you were probably born with a golden spoon in your mouth...
very funny story I saw yesterday on X someone shared a quote from Otedola's statement how he used to sale diesel from door to door, this person's reply got me laughing he said can you imagine the son of a former Lagos state Governor siting in front of a pickup truck selling diesel from door to door?, how's that possible, it got me thinking how even the very wealthy somehow want to identify with the grassroots life.
enough of that tho, let's dig in, for me being broke means not being able to afford the very basic and essential needs that are very necessary, you know as we grow so does our priorities change over time, since I now consider myself a fultime blogger on hive, I don't dare run out of data any day any time, if it ever get to the point were I can't afford data subscription for my phone then I'm really down to zero.
secondly my bathing soap, heir and body cream, this are very important, I dare not allow any run out before replacing them, so what I do is to make provision for them on my monthly list, altho most times i run out of resources to go round, still I must make sure I get them before the last drop.
there are a lot on the list but even when my account is reading zeros and I don't have what to eat at the moment, atleast these guys must be available.
I would consider myself really Broke when I can't afford my basic needs such as these, however we pray not to find ourselves in this circumstances so we constantly thrive harder and do all we can to never go broke.
