Never Say Never

No no, this post isn’t about advising or encouraging anyone not to give up in life or in pursuing their dreams. This actually reminds me of a joke someone made about giving up. He said at this point and in this era, and with the kind of motivation ongoing on the internet, anyone who wants to give up should do it quick so that those who are serious will get the opportunity to go after their dreams.

It’s hilarious, but it’s true. There are people working their dream jobs and earning so much but always complaining of something and how tired they are and how they want to quit their jobs and stay home. Please do. Just quit that job and rest so that someone who really wants it will get the opportunity. No motivation for anyone today. Let’s all rest.

Anyway, this “never say never” is actually about the things we say we’ll never do. I just finished a conversation with my closest friend, and half of the convo was just me reminding her of something she’s doing now. Not that it is a bad thing, but years ago, she vowed never to do that thing in her life.

She wasn’t naive or unwise or anything at that time. It’s just something she saw one time, and she said, “Ehhh, I don’t even know why people do this but I’m never going to do it.” I remember clearly trying to explain to her that the problem was from her not knowing why people do that thing. And before she concludes that she’s never going to do it, she should find out why people do it in the first place. And also find out situations that can make her do that thing.

She said no! She just wasn’t going to do it, and nothing in this world would make her do it. She didn’t care who was in danger or whatever; it just wasn’t in her plans.

A few years later, and she couldn’t even realize she’s done that thing over and over again. I had to bring her attention to it. And then she was just quiet.

They said until you are in a situation, anytime you hear a song, you’ll just dance to the beat, but when you finally are faced with certain things, you’ll start listening to the lyrics and begin to relate with a lot of things.

It’s the same with these things. Until you can satisfy your desires and wants, until your laughter can actually soothe your pain, and until your needs are within your reach, never say never. Never see someone doing something and say you’re never going to do this because of your morals, your beliefs, your upbringing. Instead, just hope that they get through it smoothly. Because life has a way of humbling anyone so fast.

I don’t know what you’ve said never to, but you know what? Let’s revisit this topic after you face that thing you vowed never to do, and then you tell us if you actually stayed true to your NEVER.

There are alot of things I am currently doing that I have never imagined myself doing before, let's just say it's part of life and how life is pushing us.
So never say never

Thank you

That's why they say life isn't balanced. You’ll see some people with great jobs and good salaries still complaining about work stress. Honestly, is there anything in life that doesn’t have its own stress?

I don’t even get it
