Fitness log - Day #8 Keep Moving, it's working

Log - Monday, 24 November

Day 8. Monday and the tummy bug continues. But the little guy is in good spirits. They also broke into my car in the early hours of the morning and smashed the passenger window. This is now the second time in 6 months. I cannot wait to move into my own place; at least there will be secure parking. But I will continue to be patient and positive. We can only do what we can.

No time for workouts today. But I kept moving to keep my step count up. Despite not working out every day, I feel the minimum step goal has definitely made a difference. Prior to making an active effort to reach it, I was maybe doing 3k on average. Now that I im motivated to move, im averaging 6.4k steps a day. Garmin also increases your step goal a little each day if you hit targets. So it's very motivating to move a little more each day. Usually, if I don't make my step goal, I read my book on my phone while I walk on the spot to reach it. Last night my phone was dead, so I took to doing a little salsa step on the spot. I enjoyed it quite a bit and will definitely be doing it a little more. Perhaps even with some music.

Stress levels were a bit high yesterday. I need to keep it down to the 20s. Will try to do better here.
