This is a clearing in the middle of a forest in the Weaselhead Natural Area just west of the Glenmore reservoir. It is the edge of the city and a great space to get away from the city without actually leaving it. It was a bit of a hike down a large hill on a winding path, a bridge over a river and a few different twisting pathways until it finally opened up into this. A great view of the sky and clouds with the sun beating down on a hot summer day. I stayed for about 20 minutes, taking a nice rest and catching the scenery around me before the heat of the sun told me it was a good time to take the walk back.
