Hello everyone, today I want to share several photos of mushrooms and knowledge about them with all of you, I found these mushrooms growing on the surface of rotting wood, it's true as a wise nature lover said, he said something like this "beauty nature sometimes appears in unexpected places", so I actually found these mushrooms by accident, so this could be considered luck because I had the opportunity to find and observe them directly from their natural habitat.
This mushroom grows very gracefully on the surface of rotting wood, as if it is part of an unstoppable natural cycle, its unique color and shape add to the beauty of wild nature that is rarely seen by many people's eyes, in a world that is often too busy the existence of this fungus reminds me of how rich nature is around me, the new life that appears on the surface of rotting wood is a clear example of how nature never stops working, every element in it has a role, even those that don't seem so important.
each mushroom that I found has its own uniqueness, now I will introduce the types of mushrooms to all of you, and I hope my post this time can help you get to know more closely and increase your knowledge about mushrooms, let's read to the end and I hope you have fun today with me.
The first photo is the mushroom "Pluteus hubregtseorum" which grows on the surface of a rotten durian tree, are you familiar with this mushroom?
Pluteus hubregtseorum is a type of fungus that has attracted the attention of mycology lovers because of its uniqueness and quite specific natural habitat. This fungus was first discovered in the European plains and then identified with characteristics that differentiate it from other species in the pluteus genus, like most fungi. Otherwise, Pluteus hubregtseorum only grows on rotting wood substrates, so this fungus is considered very important in the decomposition process in forests and other natural ecosystems.
one of the characteristics of Pluteus hubregtseorum is its mushroom cap which has a light brown color with a smooth and shiny surface when it is young, but over time this cap will become slightly dry and flatter and also has curved edges. One of the features of Pluteus hubregtseorum is the presence of quite a lot of spores, these spores are released through the lamellae or gills of the fungus.
Physically, this mushroom has a medium size but is quite interesting if you look closely, especially when they grow in a damp and cool natural habitat. Even though the Pluteus hubregtseorum mushroom has a quite attractive appearance, it is important for me to tell you all that not all species Mushrooms in this genus can be eaten, so in this post I do not recommend that you communicate about these mushrooms, if you are very interested in enjoying them then it would be a good idea for you to consult with a nutritionist first so that undesirable things don't happen in your life.

and the second is a species of Marasmius mushroom that I found growing on rotten wild vines. Have you ever found this beautiful mushroom?
Marasmius is a species of fungus that is famous for its ability to grow in dry and unsupportive places. This fungus is often found growing on dead wood, coconut husks, areca nut fronds and wild vines as I found this time, I found the Marasmius fungus on plants wild vines that have dried up and even though the plants look fragile and insignificant, it turns out that the Marasmius fungus is quite deft at using them as a substrate for breeding.
The characteristic of the Marasmius mushroom that I encountered is its medium size, the hat and stem of the mushroom are pure white but there is a slight bright brown color in the middle of the mushroom hat which beautifies the appearance of the mushroom. Another aspect that makes the Marasmius mushroom quite special is its ability to survive in harsh environmental conditions, even when the dry season comes, most other organisms find it difficult to survive, but the Marasmius fungus still shows its existence.

the presence of fungi such as Pluteus hubregtseorum &
Marasmius in the wild gives us an idea of how extraordinary the role of fungi is in the ecosystem, even though they both have different characteristics, they both function as decomposers of organic material which really helps maintain the balance of nature by decomposing dead organic material, with its ability to grow in different places. It doesn't seem conducive, reminding us of the resilience of nature and the importance of every organism in maintaining the cycle of life. By appreciating and understanding their role, we will all become more aware of how important biodiversity is in preserving the environment.
