In the so-called Western countries, we have an increasingly serious problem: excessive bureaucracy. Bureaucracy is necessary and is one of the foundations of civilization. Without it, the world will be in chaos. It's something of a necessary evil. A country without bureaucracy is a bankrupt country.

The problem is that bureaucracy, like anything else, must be controlled because it tends to serve itself and not the citizens, which is its true function. And that's what's happening: it's completely out of control, which is creating a multitude of problems.
Uncontrolled bureaucrats create more problems so they can solve them and justify their growth. Like everyone else, they crave power. They're burying democracy in paperwork, complicating things so much that only they can unravel the mess. And to achieve this, they need more bureaucrats, resulting in more costs for citizens.
