An old friend on of mine just turned 34 years old today and in the beginning of 2024, he said fuck it. Quit his job and focused on his creative ability which is absolutely insane if you ask me. But he went for it and haven't looked back. 1 year in he reflected on it and I wrote with him a little bit and he is still living on his creative output but he is that good at it and he went for it.
I told him he was an inspiration to many of us who knows him personally even if we don't talk often anymore.
Compared to him, I kinda just went in an other way. Just having a job, saving and investing for a better future. Which gives me more money to play around with, but my mindset is also different that his for good or worse, but from what I can see around me is that. People tend to have more fun I do even if I would have the money to do stuff. But I have said no to stuff alot over the cause of a few years and I have also moved away from my friends for the purpose of buying a house outside of the big city which have made it harder to connect with friends and finding new friends, since I have been used to just playing games with friends, who now got girlfriends and doesn't play as much :D
There is properly a lesson in not putting all of your eggs in one basket and come out more often right and I will see if I can make 2025, the year of me going out more because this isn't as fun anymore as it was in the beginning ^ - I just gotta figure out where to start ;)
+ Having money for the sake of having money, was never my plan right.
