Hello, SkateHivers!
Professional skateboarder Raphael Índio envisioned the Caverna Spot, a project that transformed an old furniture factory into a beautiful covered skatepark.
The space features rails and ledges that were used in SLS competitions in Rio de Janeiro. Before opening to the general public, Indio invited some crews from the city to come check out and have some fun at the skatepark.
One of the crews invited was Crows Night. At the invitation of my friend Pharrá Buarque, I went to photograph the visit.
In addition to the skatepark, Indio offers skateboarding lessons for children at the Mini Monstros Skate school/crew. The Minimonstros kids are very promising and already have some well-known names in the Rio de Janeiro skate scene.

O skatista profissional Raphael Índio idealizou a Caverna Spot, um projeto que transformou uma antiga fábrica de móveis em um belíssimo skatepark coberto.
O local conta com bordas e corrimões que foram utilizados em competições da SLS no Rio de Janeiro. Antes da abertura para o público em geral, Indio convidou algumas crews da cidade para conhecerem e se divertirem no skatepark.
Uma das crews convidadas foi a Crowsnight. A convite do meu amigo Pharrá Buarque, fui fotografar essa visita.
Além do skatepark, Indio ministra aulas de skate para crianças na escolinha/crew Minimonstros. A molecada da Minimonstro é muito promissora e já possui alguns nomes conhecidos na cena do skate carioca.
