I got out at the back door, and what greeted me outside was Mama showering Uno with lots of love, and they're doing it on their window, lol. Cute no (^._.^)ﾉ. It's his first bark day today, he turned 1 year old today. I told Mama that she should treat Uno with fried chicken. She said that's what she had already planned for today. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
On the other hand, Mommy F requested Ginataang Suso (snail) for today's lunch. We've been having chicken and fish in the past weeks and we want something else this time. I am not really a fan of Snail so I am planning to buy cooked dish again in a carinderia, probably with pork meat again.
We decided to to yo the market as early as 8 am because we don't want to missed the snails that is only available during Tiangge-an day. So here we are having our walk outside. Got the chance to snaps some photos on our way to the market. Such a pretty good start of Sunday with pretty flowers. I hope everyone is having a great weekend too ＼(^o^)／
We quickly finish our shopping in the market buying all the ingredients we needed. Unfortunately, the fried chicken stall in the market is still close, maybe it's their day off or maybe we are just too early. We're already on our way home here and I saw this in someone's yard. It's a dragon fruit but what do we call this? Looks like a cactus.
And another sad news, there's no available Snails in the market today. I can't contact Mom so I decided to just buy vegetables. I had to buy something because Mommy F's already grating a whole coconut at home. We didn't buy coconut milk today because Auntie Velyn brought us some the other day. She even peeled it's skin for us, what a lovely Auntie. And it's Mommy D who squeezed out the milk out on it while mommy F did the grating manually.
As for the veggies, I just bought bitter gourd, squash and red chili leaves. It would be amazing to have eggplant too but it's a no, no for now so I just get the three. Ginataang Gulay or Mixed Veggies, that's what we're making. And yeah, I did all the peeling and cutting, all Mommy D did was cook it after.
And here's our creamy and delicious lunch ♪┌|∵|┘♪. It is healthy and this is seriously the best with rice and any fried fish. Mama bought Tinapa or smoked fish so I asked one from her. The oldies on the other hand had a fried galunggong. What a wonderful lunch! ♪ \(^ω^\ )
Anyways, Uno couldn't get a fried chicken but Mama bought a dog food for him. They always have rice and chicken, and cat foods is like a treat for them. And now he can have it all (＾∇＾)ﾉ♪
