A Leader’s Commitment: Three Rules for Progress and Unity

Who doesn’t want to rule? Every one of us wants to rule over others for good, bad, or worse. Being dominant is a human instinct. Maybe it feels easy to make an outline of what to do or not from the audience seat, it's the person who sits on the responsibility who feels the burden. Yet, when the audience is frustrated with the lacking of the ruler and suffering, they have the best possible approaches to offer from the root level. That's where I am standing right now with tons of such rules that I would have implemented if I were to rule my own country right now.

"ᵂᵒʳᵈˢ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵖⁱᶜˢ ᵃʳᵉ ᵐⁱⁿᵉ, ᵘⁿˡᵉˢˢ ᴵ ˢʰᵒᵘᵗᵒᵘᵗ ʷʰᵉʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉʸ ᶜᵃᵐᵉ ᶠʳᵒᵐ!"

Zero Tolerance Policy: Strict Punishment for All Offences

Yeah, for everyone I will impose strict laws. If the law and order falls then nothing will be able to keep the country moving towards prosperity unless it's a gimmick for the people. Even if you search Bangladesh for recent news, you would see the tense situation here and the law and order are vulnerable right now due to the recent revolution. Every day or tomorrow there is news of violence, thefts, and many more, it was in the past as well. Also, the roots of corruption are running within the veins of the people, hell yeah.

So I would have imposed such strict laws that everyone would think multiple times before even thinking about doing something illegal. No offences would go unpunished no matter how tiny it is. The lesson is most important. If the laws and orders are in the right places then everything else shall become easier to accomplish.

Empowering Education: Building a Nation of Skilled Citizens

Education is one of the basic needs of us. I would ensure quality education for all, not something that is just for statistics or grades, but real-life education that has practical value. It would range from the kids to adults no matter what the number is. Education enables us to live in a better way with the progressive world as the world has much more to offer than we can even imagine.

Education will go with the view of making them skilled. I believe in the lessons that we learn, not the grades we score. So my ultimate goal will be to make them skilled by ensuring proper education for everyone.

Ensuring Harmonious Society: Equality, Faith, and Ethics

The third rule will be to have equality in the society. I got fed up seeing the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer with every passing day. So I will ensure the distribution of wealth in such a way that there is equality in society. Not like donating to the poor and making the rich, it would be like the wealthy people would contribute more to the well-being of society. I would love to see no discrimination between the people living with one another. I want to establish faith and ethics that would yield positive outcomes.

I know this one feels like a conceptual idea more than a rule but it is the rule, I would prioritize making plans on how to better implement on these ideas and bring them to a reality.

I believe, that if I can implement these ideas in the real life and make them executed then the chaotic image will not take long to vanish and the citizens of the country will be able to live happily.

Sort:

it would be like the wealthy people would contribute more to the well-being of society. I would love to see no discrimination between the people living with one another.

Hmm but I think for many cases it's poor people that are lacking the education or they don't really try to get out from there. They get stuck in that mindset and loop and to be honest, that's how society was designed. It's kind of sad but that's how it is. Like we need that yin and yang. You can't have good without evil so I think poor and rich is just like that. If everyone is rich, who would do the unwanted things like being a plumber or garbage man?

Of course it varies from country to country. Some countries don't have enough opportunities so to close the gap increasing the opportunities would be good but if the poor people aren't stepping up to get out, then I don't think we should punish the rich people for that. In addition to that, rich people have businesses and they are contributing to creating more jobs through this and some do charity as well so how much do you want them to contribute to society exactly? Of course not all but I think most rich people are contributing to society; I could be wrong though.
