So, talking about governments is like forcing yourself first of all to define yourself: are you left or right? and in my particular case I always believed that I was an anarchist, but I just read that anarchism arises from the left, so then I sit in the middle of the Sahara desert, I am a centrist, but not even that saves me from the holy extremist and demanding inquisition that wants to force you to say what you are, and I am only a human being.😔
I am going to take advantage of this opportunity that our host @galenkp gives us to rant a little like a good Cuban, and I will use my right to answer the following question.
If you were the ruler of your own country, what three rules would you impose on the population? Explain why you chose those three in particular.Use your own photographs.
First of all, three rules is very insubstantial to organize a halfway decent government, so I will be practical, conservative and a good dictator.
As you already know my origin, you should keep in mind that I am also an idealist. I have three basic principles tattooed on my bones: food, health and education, but first of all, my government will have an expiration date and division of powers.
1.Development of a planned economy, but never centralized. (Business and individual planning and autonomy)
As I am the person in charge of my country, I am going to identify the potential wealth that the entire national territory has, this will allow me to promote and develop the areas with the best prospects for internal development.
Investments will be organized and planned to benefit the quality of life of citizens, but they will never be limited or restrict the technological growth of a developing and sustainable company (One of the least protected values currently is the workforce.)
State companies will become cooperative companies with autonomy so that they can be directed through boards of directors together with their workers.
The agriculture food program will be subsidized.
Each individual has the right to exercise their profession and/or activity as long as they pay their taxes. My government DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUPPRESS THE FREEDOM OVER THE INDIVIDUAL PROFESSION and much less over the development of companies.
Rescue the value of the labor force.
Aid programs are prioritized for the most vulnerable areas: single mothers, children, people with disabilities, and high-risk pensioned adults.
2.My government has the obligation to establish, sustain and diversify quality public health and education services.
The study plans will be programmed to meet the existing professional demands and the expansion of other areas according to needs.
The state does not produce capital, it only manages public goods.
They will be solved through the collection of taxes established from each private, cooperative, or foreign entity.
Likewise, you will have the right to coexist with private health and education according to the rules and deductions imposed by my government.
3.Division of judicial and administrative powers.
One of the main evils that plague governments is corruption. It is clear that the people who are chosen to integrate a presidential cabinet are PUBLIC SERVANTS, they are not the owners of a country, therefore, these people must be under public and judicial scrutiny.
The people are always defenseless before the government.
Before becoming part of my work team, they must, like me, declare before a judge all the assets and wealth they possess at that moment, and once my mandate has concluded, they must be subjected to full scrutiny, including me mainly.
All complaints about abuse of office, diversion of resources and corruption of powers will be attended to and verified.
The capital punishment will still come into force.
From my poor and small perspective, where a million elements are missing, these 3 rules would mark an important turning point to initiate a change of mentality about our lives in my country.
The evolution and development of our minds does not allow us to divest ourselves of a group of people who supposedly enforce general obligations and rights within a country, and most importantly, manage all the goods that a people produces based on priorities that they themselves decide, and not those that are needed to balance the existing social order while the class struggle occurs.
