This was one of the reasons that I wrote my post about Why you should run your own blockchain node at home. Same thing will eventually apply to hosting, AI, etc.
People need to learn how to participate in the infrastructure or they will be left behind as far as figuring out how to capitalize on it.
There are decentralized hosting networks like Akash that run on blockchain and use their native token for server payments. There is Render that pays people to run GPUs for AI usage, etc. We have to take the power away from the bigger players by investing in our own infrastructure.
