You nailed it. Running infrastructure is the wave of the future. It is something that people need to learn how to do. It might not require the biggest of systems but the compute/storage is going to be required.
Just the processing for inference is going to be enormous.
People think way too much about profitability as well and not on the fact that you are helping to decentralize the networks. One of my plans with my earnings is adding to my own self hosted infrastructure as I can. People in today’s society have that “someone else will do it” mentality. That’s not the way it works.
Without a doubt. They all seem to want to get rid of the "evil corporations and rich people' but then complain if something costs them a couple bucks a month.
It is why the "elite" always win. Very few are willing to take the actions or risks to get ahead.
