This is a very good point. Crypto is not easily affected by nations and governments. Sure they try to tax it in different countries, but in a truly decentralized environment, this is difficult to implement. If services are offered thru Web3, one doesn't have to withdraw to Fiat, so there is no way to say what is an income or not, and taxation becomes difficult.
It is a radical shift in mindset. We are now entering upon an era where the old structure is no longer applicable. It will take a while to get this through to people.
Perhaps the governments collapsing over the next decade will bring this closer to reality.

If I want to understand, the borderless nature you are referring to is that of crypto operating outside government borders. By that, a particular government does not have the jurisdiction to effectively control the activities of crypto.
If this is true, how then was it possible for World Street to raise up a case against Bitcoin?
